Family Life Explorers
Hey there! We are Ruben, Viki, Senne and Levi and we call ourselves the Family Life Explorers. After 9 years of business, we decided to take a year's break and so we left on a world trip on May 28, 2024. Our first destination is Australia and on this website and on our YouTube channel we will take you along on our adventures!

How long are your together?
We first met in 2006 at the International Hospitality School of Leeuwarden. That year, Ruben founded the wine association Dionysus with friends and Viki joined. It was love at first sight, but we were both taken at the time. It took another 7 years before we had our first date and we have been together ever since.
Why Family Life Explorers?
We share our story with these three pillars in the leading role:
family, life and travel.

How long are you going to travel?
We leave May 28, 2024 and will be away for one year.
How do you finance your trip?
We finance our trip with our savings, rental income from our own home and income from our businesses.
Are you still working during your travels?
We continue to work on our business throughout our journey.
This is not a full-time job, but approximately 2 days a week.
Are the children not going to school?
Senne and Levi are currently not going to school and we are homeschooling them. Every morning we do different assignments together and we discover the world while traveling.
